Ebury regeneration project moves forward into second phase

The first phase of Ebury has now been successfully completed, marking a major milestone in this ambitious three-phase regeneration project to transform the former 1930s Ebury Bridge Estate into a thriving, well-connected new neighbourhood.

Phase One saw the delivery of two of the nine proposed residential buildings – Sutherland Apartments and Mandeville Apartments – providing 226 new homes and establishing the architectural and design benchmark for the wider development.

Momentum continues with the appointment of McLaren Construction Limited as the main construction partner for Phase Two, a significant step forward in the project’s next chapter. When complete, this phase will deliver a further five apartment buildings providing 334 new homes.

Phase Two will also introduce new outdoor spaces, re-establish the Ebury Bridge Road retail parade, and create new workspaces and community facilities, realising the vision for Ebury as a sustainable, mixed-use residential destination in SW1.

Ebury named Development of the Year at the 2025 Resi Awards

Ebury is a multi award-winning regeneration project and its latest award – Development of the Year (500+ homes) at the 2025 Property Week Resi Awards – marks another major milestone for this flagship regeneration project in Westminster. As the largest and most significant regeneration scheme currently underway in the borough, the recognition reflects the development’s ambition, scale and design excellence.

The award celebrates the collaborative achievement of Westminster City Council and the project’s architects, astudio, recognising exceptional quality, innovation and long-term commitment to delivering sustainable, future-focused homes in central London.

This latest accolade follows closely on the heels of another prestigious win earlier in the year, when Ebury received the Residential Development Project Award at the RICS UK Awards 2025. Together, these honours reinforce Ebury’s position as one of the most highly regarded residential regeneration projects in London.

Additional industry awards to date recognise its design, delivery and vision, Ebury continues to set a benchmark for large-scale, community-led development in Westminster.
